About

The person
behind it.

I'm Si, a cloud and infrastructure leader based in Dundee.

I help early-stage biotech and life science companies build the technology foundations they need to grow, without introducing unnecessary enterprise complexity too soon.

I was one of the earliest employees and the first dedicated IT hire at Exscientia the fourth Unicorn to come out of Scotland. Along the way, I helped build and scale its IT, cloud infrastructure, DevOps capability, high-performance computing and global technology operations.

That experience means I understand the challenges smaller biotechs face because I have already lived through them: limited budgets, fast growth, valuable data, evolving science and increasing pressure from investors, partners and regulators.

wee-tech gives growing biotech companies access to that experience without needing to hire a full-time senior infrastructure leader. I help strip away the noise, identify what genuinely matters now, and provide a practical path from today’s setup to something secure, scalable and manageable.
